International Student Experiences in the Pandemic
2020 (Open University Internal funds SRIF and IDII SRA)
PI: Gunjan Sondhi (Open University)
Co-I: Parvati Raghuram (Open University)
Research Associate: James Wright
Sector Partner: UKCISA
Project Summary
There has been marked concern about how different demographics and groups have been impacted by Covid-19. However, the impacts on international students have been largely neglected. We aim to give voice to student experiences and, through the research, find better ways to support you.The research will result in targeted, evidence-based recommendations to the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA), the UK Higher Education sector and national-level migration policy-makers, in order to better support international students in the UK.
